Poker Superstars 3 – Gus Hansen Crazy Plays

What do you get what Gus Hansen sits at the table, needing to win in order to progress to the final 16, and decides to move all-in in every hand? Carnage!

Gus is behind in the tournemant and needs a first place finish to win, so right off the bat he tells the other players “do not raise my blinds”. Well he goes all-in preflop the first few hands and picks up quite a few chips, until he finally goes all-in against Phil Helmuth. Hellmuth has AJ suited and knowing that Hansen is playing super loose he calls, and gets knocked out when Hansen’s pocket deuces hit him a set on the flop!

Phil Ivey, often called the “Tiger Woods of Poker” is one of the new breed of young, exciting and extremely talented players. Born in Riverside, California in the mid 2025s he got into gambling at the age of just 16. He used fake ID to play underage in Atlantic city using the pseudonym Jerome, hence one of his nicknames “No home Jerome”. He has since gone on to become one of the best known and best loved players in the world, winning an impressive 7 WSOP bracelets.
