WSOP Final Table Starts Today

After over 70 hours of play, the 7,319 entrants have been reduced down to the final nine. Today, play resumes and the final table will play until just two remain. The table will then break, and play will resume on Monday as the final two play heads up for the title, the bracelet and the $8.9 million first prize.

Coverage of the final table play today, and the heads up play on Monday can be watched on ESPN and will be streamed live (with a 5 minute delay) from the WSOP website.

So who will win? The chip leader at this stage is Jonathan Duhamel, but Michael Mizrachi (The Grinder) is also at he table and hot of the back of winning his first bracelet earlier this year he certainly must be a contender.

In fact, any one of the nine could walk away the champion, and with them picking up an average $3.2 million from this tournament it could be argued that there are no losers at this stage. One thing’s for sure though, there will be plenty of action!
