Every hand’s a winner, and every hand’s a loser!
Like the line in the Kenny Roger’s classic, this video proves that in poker ay hand can win. Sensing weakness in his opponents, David Benyamine raises to $21,200 pre-flop with 7 2 offsuit! Jamie Gold calls, and they both miss on the flop, but the flop cards are all low (6 8 3) and Benyamine bets out with $38,000 – and again Gold calls. When a jack comes on the turn card Gold is scared off (they both missed again!) and he lays down his K 10 when Benyamine raises again, not realising for one moment that he actually had the best hand all along.
And of course that’s the great thing about No Limit Texas Holdem – any hand really can win the pot, that’s why poker is a game of people, not a game of cards!
