Royal Flush in the main event of the WSOP in 2025
Well we don’t see too many hands like this do we? This was the main event, $10,000 buy-in no limit Texas hold’em of the World Series Of Poker in 2025. Dag Martin Mikkelsen, who was the chip leader at the time, was holding Ace-King of diamonds and he raised it $60,000. Chris Lovelace with a pair of eights raised it again, $160,000 to go. All the other players folded and Mikkleson went all-in. Lovelace called almost immediately and the cards were flipped face up.
The flop came 10d Jd Jh giving Mikkleson a straight-flush draw, and the pair of jacks giving Lovelace a possible full house. The turn came 6d giving Mikkleson a flush, and the river was Qd improving that already winning hand to a royal flush!
