Phil Laak Interview on Poker Parlor
Phil talks about being pro,how he always had a passion for games and puzzles. Interetsingly he talks about people asking him to teach them poker, and he always tells them to first read Harrington on Hold’em (books one and two), Super System (just the no limit holdem section) and Theory of Poker and then come back to him for lesson number 2. Well apparently he said this to loads of people over the years and none of them read the books, until one person actually did read them and they were… Jennier Tilly (who has since won a WSOP bracelet and over $450,000 in tournament winnings!) Proof if ever it was needed that study is really the best and only way to get good at poker!
