Yesterday saw the bubble burst in this year’s World Series Of Poker Main Event. Of the 7,319 hopefuls less than 10% remain, with the field down to just 574 as we head into day 5.
Those 574 will each take home a share of the $70 million prize pool, and 9 of them will become the “November Nine” playing that famous final table later in the year for a shot at the title.
The unlucky “bubble boy” was Tim McDonald from Kentucky who busted out in 748th place, one shy of the money, and a minimum cash of $19,263
When play resumes there will be one more hour of level 19 with blinds of 3000-6000 and a 1000 ante.
The current chip leader is Tony Dunst from Las Vegas, who has a little over 1.5 million in chips.
